Science Saturdays are  presented by the Roswell Museum and Art Center, Goddard Planetarium, and the Roswell Independent School District as an opportunity for children, grades K-8, and their parents to visit the Goddard Planetarium together. Science Saturdays are presented one Saturday a month, from 10am to 12 noon, most months of the year. There is no charge for Science Saturdays.

On each of the Science Saturdays children and their parents will see a planetarium presentation, learn about the earth, the planets in our solar system, and the stars beyond. After each presentation children will participate in age-appropriate science related activities that develop the wonder children have for the earth and space. Younger children will need to have a parent present to assist them in the activities. There is no charge to attend Science Saturdays and children do not have to attend RISD schools. All are welcome.
