Goddard Planetarium
Goddard Planetarium is a joint commitment by the Roswell Independent School
District, the Roswell Museum and Art Center, and the City of Roswell, NM, whose mission is to provide thought
provoking educational and entertaining programs in astronomy, the sciences,
arts, and humanities to the educational community and to the public to advance understanding of the universe in which we live.
Our Mission
- To provide educational and entertaining experiences in science and
astronomy for all age groups
- To supplement astronomy resources for schools, home schools, and other interested groups
- To encourage learning in astronomy and science by providing free
or low-cost activities
